2. Admission to BA-I (Semester System)

3. Admission to BA-II & BA-III (Annual System)

ii. With 500 Late fees and Permission from Principal : Within 5 Working Days from (i) of above.

iii. With 1000 late fees and Permission of Dean , College Development Council : within 5 Working Days from (ii)

iv. With 2000 Late fees and Permission of Vice Chancellor : Within 5 Working days from (iii)

4. Admission for Semester System

i. (B.Sc-I , B.Com-I , BCA-I , PGDCA) MA-I , MA-II

ii. Regular Admission (Without Late fees ) : upto

Note :- There Will be four papers each in every semester of MA-I and MA-II (English & Political Science) and each paper will be of 100 marks and total Marks will be 1600.There will be five papers in each semester of MA-Punjabi and every paper will be of 80 Marks.

Note :-Students Coming for Admission Should deposit their 10 +2 , BA , MA and migration certificates to Admission Committee in original. Those who failed will be fined and will not be admitted. (Their admission will be Cancelled).

Instructions for Admission

1). Admission will be made as per instructions of Punjabi University, Patiala.

2). Each candidate shall fill up the admission form neatly in his/her own handwriting for admission to different programme of this college and shall submit the form to the principal. He/She should attach the following documents with the admission form:


a). Four copies of latest coloured Passport size photographs.

b). Following original certificates with one set of attested photocopies:

  • Residence Certificate
  • Matriculation Certificate containing date of birth
  • Details Marks Card of the qualifying examination
  • Character Certificate from the Principal of the Institute/College last attended
  • Migration Certificate from previous university
  • Reserved category/Sub category certificate from the competent authority, if applicable

3). No-objection certificate from the employer in case the candidate is in service.

4). An affidavit duly attested by Notary public pledging the payment of balance Fee & Funds for the remaining entire period of the course before discontinuing studies in between or before migration.

5). College considers ragging a cognizable offence & will not hesitate to take stern action against the offenders as per the direction of UGC.

6). Passed out students are advised to seek refund of College/Hostel Security with in One Year from the Declaration of the result of final semester/year, failing which, the security amount will be forfeited and no refund will be made.

7.) Many scholarships for meritorious and deserving students are available in some teaching departments.
