Facilities
- Departmental Library; To help the students, department has collection of books and journals. Personal books of the teachers were given to the economically weaker and needy students. They were asked to return the books after exams.
- The students were asked to note/read the articles return by economists in the various national local news paper .The clippings of the articles are also available in the department.
- Students are free to consult the teachers in the department after the regular class. Moreover they are free to discuss their problems on mobile.

- Paper reading contest; Topics for the Indian economy were selected for the paper reading.
- Poster Making Competition ; Student of the department participated on social evils and environment and economy topics.

- Award Distribution; The names of the laborious students are recommended for award in the annual function and their names will be announced in the class so that others will also get inspiration.
