Poster making competitions based on themes like female foeticide, dowry, sexual harassment etc are organized every year. The winners are awarded by eminent personalities who visit the college
As part of awareness campaigns, handouts on important topics are distributed to the staff. This information is also disseminated among the students during the tutorials.

Students participate and bag prizes at Red Cross Mela held every year by district administration.
On 1st Dec. 2011, the club organized a paper reading contest so as to spread awareness amongst the students regarding AIDS to celebrate World AIDS Day.
