HEIS Department of the College conducted a power point presentation competition among the computer department students. Principal Dr. Sant Surinder Pal Singh was the chief guest of the event. Principal Rajinder Kaur of Government College, Tanda and Principal Jatinder Kaur of Government College, Kapurthala were the guests of honour.

Students presented their PPT's in a very simple and effective manner Manjot Singh and Yogesh of BCA II were the winners. Prof. Jasbir Kaur (Retd.) of Home Science Deptt. of the college distributed the prizes. A newly renovated staff room of the HEIS was inaugrated by principal Dr. Sant Surinder Pal Singh ji.

The event was attended by vice-principal Prof. Manjit Kaur Manchanda, Prof. Sarvjeet Kaur, Prof. Jatinder Gill, Prof. Nirmal Singh Brar, Prof. Dalvinder Singh, Prof. Arvinder Kaur, Prof. Shaminder Kaur, Prof. Updeshdeep Kaur and others. Prof. Shaminder Kaur of HEIS anchored the event nicely. Prof. Sukhwinder Kaur and Prof. Natasha Kalra of English Deptt. and Prof. Ajay Kumar of Chemistry Deptt. performed the duty as judges of the competition. Prof. Pratibha Saini, Member Secretary HEIS, Prof. Harjus Kaur, Joint Secretary and Prof. Jatinder Kumar, Finance Secretary thanked the chief guest and other dignitaries.
