Under the able guidance of Principal Dr.Sant Surinder pal Singh Home science department in collaboration with NSS and women cell organised a SEMINAR and a NO COOKING RECEIPE COMPETITION under on going celebrations of RASTRIYA POSHAN MAAH. Students of home science department enthusiastically participated in healthy n nutritive no cooking receipe competition. Besides that there was a informative talk by Dr.Manpreet kaur ,a gynaecologist on POLY CYSTIC OVARY SYNDROME which is a very common disease among adolescents girls these days .She related the occurrence of PCOS mainly with faulty diet patterns of the adolescents.The talk was followed by an interactive question session between the speaker and students.
